Why there is no contact form

A contact form needs a server to receive it, and this site does not have one. Everything here is a static file, which is exactly what makes it possible to promise that your documents never reach us. A form would mean giving that up for the sake of convenience, so we use plain email instead.

What to include in a bug report

The more of this you can tell us, the faster we can reproduce the problem:

• Which tool you were using, and what you were trying to do.
• Your browser and its version, and your operating system.
• What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
• Any message shown on the page, copied out in full.

Please do not send us your documents

We cannot debug a file for you, and we would rather not have it. If one specific document fails, tell us what is unusual about it: how large it is, how many pages, whether it is password-protected, and which program produced it. That is almost always enough to find the cause.

When you will hear back

This is a small project, so a reply can take a few working days. Every message is read, including the ones telling us something is broken.
