License
Buying MacClean gives you a non-transferable license: Lifetime activates on 2 Macs and Family on 5, for you or your household. You can deactivate an old Mac to move its slot to a new one.
Please don’t resell or publicly share license keys or try to bypass activation. We may deactivate licenses that are abused.
Free trial
Every feature works for 7 days after the first launch. After that, scanning and viewing results stay free; cleaning needs a license.
30-day refund policy
- Email us your order number (starting with MC) and the email you ordered with. No reason needed.
- Refunds go back to the WeChat Pay or Alipay account you paid from. We usually process them within 3 business days.
- Once refunded, the license is deactivated.
- Past 30 days? Write to us anyway and we’ll do our best to work something out.
Using MacClean
MacClean moves the files it cleans to the Trash, and you can restore them from Cleanup History. These actions can’t be undone from Cleanup History, so read the in-app notes before running them: emptying the Trash, deleting Time Machine local snapshots and the other Maintenance commands. After the Trash is emptied, a file can only be recovered with Recover Files if it still exists in a local snapshot or Time Machine backup.
We work hard to make MacClean safe and reliable, but it is provided “as is”. Always keep backups of important data. To the extent permitted by law, we aren’t liable for indirect damages from using the software, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for it.
Changes
If these terms change in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date on this page and note it on the site. Changes never affect licenses you’ve already bought.
